    3. On construit votre page.

    Construisons quelque chose ensemble

Aucun risque. Aucun coût pour démarrer. Juste votre vision, rendue réelle.

  • STRAUM: The Meaning Behind the Name

Every brand needs a name. Most pick something that sounds cool and call it a day. We didn’t want that. We wanted a word that meant something — something that captured how we think about life, design, and the clothes you wear every day.

    What does STRAUM mean?

Straum is an Old Norse word meaning current, stream, flow. It’s the force that moves water through a river — not violent, not still, but constantly in motion. Purposeful and quiet.

We found it while researching Nordic and Icelandic languages, and the moment we read the definition, it clicked. That’s the feeling we wanted our clothes to carry: movement. Forward motion. The idea that life is a current, and the best thing you can do is stay in it.

Stay in motion and never let go

That’s not just a tagline we put on the website. It’s the design philosophy behind every piece we make. A STRAUM t-shirt should move with you — to work, to the gym, to a late dinner, to a hike. It shouldn’t demand attention. It should feel like a second skin that happens to look clean.

The STRAUM Original was the first expression of that idea: no loud graphics, no forced statement. Just a well-made tee in organic cotton with a design that speaks through restraint.

    Born in Switzerland

STRAUM is designed, printed, and shipped from Switzerland. That’s not a supply chain choice made for convenience — it’s intentional. Swiss precision, Swiss materials standards, Swiss environmental regulations. When you order a Feel The Trees or a White and Black, it ships from here within 24 hours, tracked, and arrives at your door in 2–3 days.

Being Swiss also shapes the aesthetic. Switzerland sits between German precision and French elegance. Our designs reflect that — structured but not rigid, refined but never overdressed. Clean lines. Quality you can feel. Nothing wasted.

    A brand that’s still flowing

STRAUM is young. We have four pieces in the collection, a growing community of customers who actually come back, and a list of ideas that keeps getting longer. We’re not trying to be the biggest streetwear brand in Europe. We’re trying to be the most honest one.

Every review we get — like Jimmy’s “Excellente surprise pour une jeune marque suisse !” or Arno’s “Nothing to say, just perfection” — reminds us why we started. Not for hype. For the current.

  • Why We Only Use Organic Cotton (And Why You Can Feel It)

There’s a moment — usually about five seconds after you pull on a STRAUM tee for the first time — where something registers. The fabric sits differently. It’s heavier than what you’re used to, but not stiff. Softer, but not thin. That’s organic cotton, and once you’ve felt it, it’s hard to go back.

    What “organic cotton” actually means

Let’s skip the marketing version. Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, or genetically modified seeds. The soil is rotated, water usage is lower, and the farmers who grow it aren’t exposed to chemicals that conventional cotton farming requires. That’s the ethical side, and it matters.

But there’s a selfish reason too: organic cotton simply produces a better fabric. The fibres are longer and stronger because they haven’t been weakened by chemical processing. That translates directly into how the t-shirt feels on your skin, how it drapes, and how long it lasts before it starts looking worn.

The difference you can actually feel

Pick up a standard fast-fashion tee and a STRAUM tee. Hold them both. You’ll notice the weight first — ours is heavier because the cotton is denser. Then run your thumb across the fabric. Organic cotton has a natural smoothness that doesn’t come from chemical softeners (which wash out after a few cycles anyway).

The STRAUM Feel The Trees is a perfect example. The deep green holds its colour wash after wash because the dye bonds better with organic fibres. As one customer put it: “I’m astonished by the quality of this product.”

Why it costs more — and why it’s worth it

An organic cotton t-shirt costs more to produce. The raw material is more expensive, the supply chain is shorter, and we don’t cut corners on weight or finish. A STRAUM tee starts at CHF 24.99 — not cheap, but not luxury pricing either. What you get is a t-shirt that still looks and feels new six months from now.

Compare that to a CHF 9.99 tee that pills, fades, and stretches at the collar after five washes. The cost-per-wear math is clear.

How to take care of your organic cotton tee

Organic cotton is naturally durable, but a little care goes a long way:

    • Wash at 30°C — cold water preserves the fibres and colour.
    • Turn it inside out — protects the print and the face of the fabric.
    • Skip the dryer — air-dry flat or on a hanger. Heat is organic cotton’s only enemy.
    • No fabric softener — the cotton is already soft. Softeners coat the fibres and actually reduce breathability.

Follow these steps and your Keep Flowing Tee or STRAUM Original will stay in rotation for years — not months.

    The bottom line

We use organic cotton because it’s better — for the planet, for the people who grow it, and for you. It’s not a selling point we bolt on after the fact. It’s the starting point of every piece we make.

  • Swiss Streetwear: Why Switzerland’s Next Wave Starts Underground

When people think of Switzerland, they think of watches, chocolate, and alpine precision. Streetwear doesn’t make the list — yet. But something is happening in the cities between the mountains. A quiet wave of independent labels is rewriting what Swiss fashion means, and it’s not coming from department stores or fashion weeks. It’s coming from basements, screen-printing studios, and late-night design sessions.

The Swiss streetwear scene nobody talks about

Switzerland has always had a relationship with craft. The same obsession with precision that makes a Swiss movement tick at 28,800 vibrations per hour also shows up in how the new generation of Swiss streetwear brands approach fabric, cut, and design. Labels like Hässig (Bern), Badmon, FINELLI, and MoodMakerz each bring something different — from blackletter typography printed on heavy hoodies to luxury-meets-street hybrids.

What they share: small drops, tight communities, and a refusal to mass-produce. Most Swiss streetwear brands sell out before the wider market even notices. Distribution is almost invisible — pop-ups, Instagram, word of mouth. That’s not a weakness. That’s the point.

Why organic cotton matters in streetwear

The fast fashion model — print a graphic on the cheapest blank you can find — is dying. Customers in Switzerland and across Europe are paying attention to what their clothes are made of. Organic cotton streetwear isn’t a niche anymore; it’s becoming the baseline for any brand that takes itself seriously.

At STRAUM, every piece starts with organic cotton. Not because it’s trendy, but because you can feel the difference the moment you put it on. Heavier. Softer. It doesn’t pill after three washes. The Keep Flowing Tee and the Feel The Trees are both made this way — and customers notice. One reviewer put it simply: “Organic cotton that actually feels premium.”

    What makes STRAUM different

STRAUM — from the Old Norse word for current, stream, flow — was born in Switzerland with a simple idea: streetwear should move with you, not define you. No oversized logos. No hype drops designed to create artificial scarcity. Just clean design, quality fabric, and a philosophy rooted in motion.

Every t-shirt is designed and printed in Switzerland. The STRAUM Original captures that ethos — minimal, versatile, built to last. The White and Black strips it down even further: pure contrast, no noise.

The underground is where it starts

Swiss streetwear doesn’t need permission from Paris or New York. The best labels in this scene are building something real — small batches, honest materials, designs that mean something to the people wearing them. If you’re looking for the next wave of European streetwear, start looking at Switzerland.
